About us

Burns-Night-2022-Where-was-Robert-Burns-born-why-is-he-celebrated-1549494

The inaugural event had 64 attendees, but this rapidly multiplied and within a few years reached a capacity of 350. Attendees are about 60% expatriate Scots and 40% from all corners of the world, giving the evening a very international flavor. Guests from all countries are welcomed.

Each table of 10 requires at least one member. The event includes a champagne reception, a three course meal, including wine and a wee dram for toasting and features the traditional ‘Address tae a Haggis’, ‘The Immortal Memory’ followed by the ‘Toast tae the Lassies’ and the ‘Reply on behalf of the Lassies’. Once the formal part of the evening is over, a traditional Scottish ‘Ceilidh’ band will play into the wee small hours.
